The Nevada Heart and Vascular Sleep Department is dedicated to delivering exceptional sleep health services to patients across Nevada. We are currently seeking a skilled full-time Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to engage in direct patient care, primarily concentrating on the diagnosis and management of sleep apnea.
Our advanced practitioners will have the opportunity to build their own patient panel, ranging from initial consultations to ongoing care, with the support of a knowledgeable management team and a dedicated medical director.
QualificationsWhile experience in clinical sleep medicine is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite for consideration. We are committed to providing comprehensive on-the-job training.
Work EnvironmentOur facility is modern and fully accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). The typical clinic hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. We offer both in-person and telemedicine consultations, as well as home sleep testing and in-lab polysomnography. Our clinic has a long-standing reputation (over 24 years) for fostering a positive work atmosphere that prioritizes patient satisfaction and health.
Compensation and BenefitsOur busy clinic environment allows for significant earning potential, with total compensation—including salary and benefits—being highly competitive. We provide an excellent benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, a continuing medical education (CME) allowance, and a 401K plan.
Requirements- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Valid Nevada License.
- Current enrollment in Medicare and Medicaid programs.
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and other computerized support tools (including Excel, Word, and email).
- A minimum of 2 years of post-degree experience in direct patient care.
- Spanish language proficiency is preferred.
- Experience in sleep medicine is highly valued.
- Background in pulmonary, ENT, or neurology fields is relevant, though family practitioners are also encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently in patient care settings.
- Strong interpersonal skills and positive feedback from previous supervisors.
