Job Summary:
Aveanna Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse - LVN to join our team. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. Our patients require continuous care and support, and we need a dedicated and caring nurse to make a positive impact on their lives.
Responsibilities:
- Implement physician-prescribed plans of care
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
- Document care provided in our system of record
- Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management
- Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required
- Follow up with physicians, clients, family members, and staff on client problems and concerns
Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
