About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Technician to join our team at Rochester Regional Health. As a Dialysis Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dialysis treatment services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver dialysis treatment to patients, including setting up and operating dialysis machines, cannulating fistulas or grafts, and obtaining blood samples and culture specimens.
  • Monitor patient vital signs during treatment and record observations and interventions in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
  • Report patient status changes to the Registered Nurse and retrieve lab results as necessary.
Requirements
  • Dialysis Technician National Certification required within 18 months of hire.
  • 1 year of experience in patient care or as an EMT required.
  • Compassionate, warm, and patient-focused approach.
  • Decisive judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills and professional behavior.
