Role Responsibilities
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-focused care and managing unit operations during their shift. Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitating patient admissions and discharges to enhance care efficiency.
- Engaging in continuous assessment of care quality in collaboration with the management team.
- Fostering teamwork among staff to improve patient outcomes.
- Promoting a patient-centered approach and addressing service recovery when needed.
- Implementing nursing strategies to enhance staff engagement and patient care.
- Participating in the recruitment, training, and development of nursing staff.
- Managing staff schedules and ensuring adequate coverage based on patient needs.
- Overseeing inventory and supply management for the unit.
Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within four months of hire.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
- A minimum of two years of nursing experience is essential.
