We're seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Quirch Foods. As a key member of our logistics team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our products to customers across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a commercial vehicle in a variety of traffic and weather conditions, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, including checking the vehicle's condition and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Load and unload products for customers, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and ensuring accurate delivery.
- Develop expertise in our products, inventory controls, and procedures, staying up-to-date with company policies and industry regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience.
- Must possess and be able to present a valid non-expired interstate Medical Card.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 100 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or walk, as well as sit for long periods of time.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English within the context of the job and safety requirements.
- Must be able to comply with truck driving rules and regulations, as well as with company policies and procedures.
- Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
- Must pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check).
