Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented individual eager to embark on a career in the mortgage sector. This role is ideal for someone who possesses strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and a quick adaptability to evolving concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage mortgage servicing inquiries from members through various communication channels.
- Utilize knowledge of mortgage procedures to resolve issues and fulfill member requests effectively.
- Provide professional assistance and communication with members and colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
- Interpret complex real estate terminology and convey information in a member-friendly manner.
- Conduct thorough research to address inquiries and complete transactions promptly.
- Identify and rectify transaction errors within the mortgage accounts.
- Process loan extension requests and maintain accurate records in compliance with established procedures.
- Prepare various mortgage servicing reports accurately and within deadlines.
- Calculate mortgage payoffs and ensure the accuracy of funds received.
- Handle high-volume inquiries while maintaining exceptional service standards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A two-year college degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
- Familiarity with mortgage processing or servicing is preferred.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential.
- Must prioritize member interests and seek opportunities to enhance member service.
- Availability: Must be available Monday through Friday during specified hours.
