Medical Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

UCHealth is seeking a highly skilled Medical ICU Nurse to join our team at Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs, CO.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide top-notch patient care in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU). As a Medical ICU Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based care to critically ill patients, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to a culture of safety and quality.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and quality by identifying and reporting potential risks and near misses.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care models.
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
- At least 6 months of ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
