We are seeking a highly skilled Operating Room (OR) Nurse to join our team at Wellspring Nurse Source. This is a travel nursing opportunity in Puyallup, Washington.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' medical histories and provide preoperative care to ensure they are prepared for surgery.
- Work closely with the surgical team to maintain a sterile environment and ensure all necessary equipment is available during procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and document all aspects of their care during and after surgery.
- Provide postoperative education to patients and their families, including instructions on wound care and activity restrictions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- A current state RN license in good standing.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
This position offers a competitive salary package based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week. The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a tax-free stipend, our benefits package includes:
