Position Overview:
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist at Santa Rosa Medical Center, you will be essential in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Florida
- Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- BLS certification from ARC or AHA
- 1-3 years of experience in critical care preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
- Conduct various patient tests and administer medications within the registered nurse's scope of practice
- Encourage patient independence by setting care goals and educating patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care techniques
- Utilize experience and judgment to set and achieve care objectives
