  • Food Safety and Storage: Ensure that all food products are stored properly, according to food safety protocols, to prevent contamination and spoilage.
  • Customer Orders: Prepare customer orders accurately and timely, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled to the highest standards.
  • Operational Excellence: Perform all responsibilities and tasks of the position according to Newk's standards, policies, and procedures for operational excellence.
  • Brand Protection: Help to protect the brand by maintaining a sanitary, safe, respectful, efficient, and high-quality work environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: 6+ months of restaurant cooking/prep experience or customer service.
  • Skills: Excellent multitasking and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Extensive standing without breaks, exposure to heat, smoke, and cold, reaching heights of approximately six feet and depths of approximately three feet, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
