Nurse Specialist

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs, CO.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our ICU. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based care to critically ill patients, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to a culture of safety and quality.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in the ICU, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and quality by identifying and reporting safety concerns, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Precept new staff members and provide guidance and support to ensure a smooth transition into the ICU team.
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
- 6 months of ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
