The Certified Nurse-Midwife plays a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse population. As a key member of the healthcare team, the nurse-midwife is responsible for implementing the philosophy, goals, and policies of the health center and midwifery services.

- Performs duties in an outpatient office setting, including comprehensive gynecologic and well-woman care, family planning, health maintenance education, health screenings, immunizations, prenatal care, menopause management, and no intrapartum management/deliveries.
- Maintains educational competencies, identifies educational deficits, and plans ways to meet those deficits
- Provides a supportive learning environment for students, fellows, and residents
- Other duties as assigned
- Masters Degree/American Midwifery Certification and/or Women's Health Nurse Practitioner with certification and extensive experience working with obstetrics
- Must have 5 years of experience in midwifery
