KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform any other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Strong communication, customer service, and sales abilities.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
Proven ability and eagerness to learn various tasks and technical aspects of the role.
Must meet minimum age criteria.

Physical Requirements
Regularly lift cases weighing up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
Meet established volume activity standards.

Remain standing or walking for the entirety of the shift, primarily in temperatures around 45 degrees F.

Perform repetitive motions including grasping, twisting, reaching, bending, and hand/arm movements while identifying, wrapping, pricing, and weighing products.
Handle various substances related to cleaning supplies, packaging, and meat/seafood items.
Utilize hands continuously for feeling objects and using tools and equipment to prepare meat and seafood products.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers in product selection.
Identify, wrap, price, and weigh all items in the meat department following established procedures.
Prepare, filet, and showcase seafood. Properly process merchandise, paying close attention to product rotation standards.
Restock fresh, frozen, and self-service cases using appropriate rotation methods.
Carry out assigned tasks such as replenishing stock, preparing food items, or setting up displays.
Support meat cutters by performing tasks such as scraping and traying products, cubing steaks, and grinding meats.
Receive meat and seafood deliveries, ensuring proper coding, rotation, and storage.
Clean and sanitize all cases, wrapping stations, scaling equipment, and cutting areas, including disassembling and reassembling necessary equipment.
Must be capable of meeting the physical demands of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Compensation
The hourly wage is approximately $24.35.
