Job OverviewThis is a remote Inpatient Medical Coder role that may lead to full-time employment after 40 hours of work per week. The position requires an active CCS (AHIMA) certification and at least 4 years of experience in Inpatient coding.
We value expertise and prefer candidates with Epic experience.
Responsibilities- Analyze medical records to assign accurate classifications of diseases
- Review complex cases, including medical, surgical, behavioral health, and IP Rehabilitation
- Maintain compliance with industry standards
- Minimum High School Diploma required
- Active CCS (AHIMA) Certification
- At least 4 years of Inpatient Coding experience
- Epic experience preferred
The estimated salary for this position is $34 - $40 per hour.
