We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Lead Service Attendant to join our team at Amtrak. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our passengers and exceeding their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise a team of food and beverage staff to provide exceptional service to our passengers.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of rail car interiors, ensuring compliance with FDA and Amtrak Service Standards.
  • Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills to resolve customer complaints and ensure employee satisfaction.
  • Responsible for safe practices, sanitation standards, and cash handling procedures.
  • Adhere to uniform and grooming requirements, as well as prepare associated paperwork.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a customer service or public contact role, demonstrating responsibility, initiative, and leadership characteristics.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-friendly demeanor.
  • Satisfactory attendance and safe work record.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs, work while standing for long periods, and adapt to a variety of hours and days off.
