Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Sevita, a leading provider of home and community-based specialized healthcare services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, brain injury, substance abuse disorder, and/or living with emotional or behavioral disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure consistency of medical information and provide technical assistance to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
  • Monitor and ensure physicians' orders are documented and carried out as prescribed
  • Provide input regarding healthcare services to be included in each individual's service plan
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program
  • One year of experience working with the population we serve
  • Current state RN License
  • Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification
  • Excellent assessment skills with the ability to exercise critical thinking in the clinical environment
  • Effective communication skills - ability to communicate with team members, medical professionals, individuals we serve, and their families
