The Physical Therapist Assistant plays a vital role in the rehabilitation team at Ashe Memorial Hospital, providing physical therapy services to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver physical therapy treatments consistent with established procedures and protocols.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
- Utilize time and resources effectively to maintain productivity standards and safety standards.
- Report patient progress to the responsible Physical Therapist in a timely manner.
- Participate in staff meetings and in-service programs to stay current with best practices.
- Provide exceptional customer service that aligns with the Hospital's Mission Statement.
- Previous experience in physical therapy, preferably in pediatrics.
- Licensure by the North Carolina Board of Examiners to practice as an Assistant in the State of North Carolina.
- Current BLS Certification.
