About the Role:
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in developing individualized therapy plans that align with each patient's needs and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy services in accordance with physician directives and established professional standards.
- Design comprehensive therapy plans that include treatment strategies, measurable goals, and discharge planning.
- Document patient progress and responses to treatment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and program development.
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas license as a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
- Experience in a rehabilitation setting, particularly with geriatric patients, is preferred.
