**Job Summary**

Reporting to the Section Leader, the Radiologic Technologist at Emerson Hospital uses ionizing radiation to produce images of tissues, organs, bones, and vessels that assist in the diagnosis of disease or injury.


Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize advanced imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and imaging results


Requirements:

• Graduate of an education program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) required

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited college or appropriate military training

• Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred

• Currently registered as R.T.(R)(ARRT) or registry-eligible with R.T.(R)(ARRT) within 6 months of hire required

• Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required

• BLS healthcare provider required


Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

• Ability to maintain confidential information required

• Computer proficiency including PACS and HIS/RIS
