Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new software projects that maintain the integrity of the software and improve upon it.
  • Recommend strategies and policies to strengthen the development process.
  • Create, revise, and maintain C++ and Java software to meet client needs.
  • Execute and train others to perform design and code reviews, and provide development feedback.
  • Diagnose and resolve software, operating system, database, and networking issues.
  • Provide on-call support for after-hours emergencies and occasional weekend client conversion support.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of professional experience in credit union software development.
  • Expert-level C++ skills and experience with credit union financial applications.
  • Extensive knowledge of relational database development and experience with Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Deep understanding of low-latency, high-availability, high-performing backend design and implementation.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
