We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Anesthesia Technician II to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a key member of our anesthesia department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our anesthesia equipment, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support and maintenance for anesthesia equipment, including troubleshooting and repair of complex medical devices.
- Perform routine testing and calibration of anesthesia machines and equipment to ensure proper function and safety.
- Assist in the setup and operation of anesthesia equipment, including the Stryker Stealth System.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide a cooperative work environment and ensure seamless patient care.
- Document all actions and test results according to department policy.
- Associate's degree in electronics, computer, or biomedical equipment technology, or equivalent experience.
- Two or more years of experience working on anesthesia medical equipment and systems.
- American Society of Anesthesia Tech Certification.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
