POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Cashier plays a crucial role in managing cash transactions, ensuring accuracy in processing payments, reconciling cash drawers, and generating financial reports. This position may also involve assisting with general food service operations while maintaining high standards of cleanliness in both service and dining areas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Initiate and balance cash at the start of each shift.
  • Operate the cash register, accept payments, and provide receipts.
  • Maintain appropriate cash levels within the drawer.
  • Compile transaction reports and verify cash totals.
  • Process credit card transactions and manage returns.
  • Accurately scan and input product prices.
  • Ensure prompt and precise transaction completion.
  • Follow sanitation protocols and uphold security measures.
  • Comply with safety guidelines and engage in training sessions.
  • Execute additional duties as directed by management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong communication abilities.

  • Detail-oriented with effective organizational capabilities.
  • Prior experience in a cashier role is essential.
