Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District is seeking a qualified JV wrestling coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing young athletes and providing a positive learning environment.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $ 45,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Job Description

This is a seasonal position that requires planning and scheduling regular meetings or practices throughout the school year or season. As a coach, you will be responsible for advising individual participants in skills necessary for achievement in wrestling, maintaining inventory of equipment and supplies, attending meetings and awards programs, and enforcing discipline and appropriate behavior.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Show evidence of teacher certification or WIAA approval
• Member of the Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District (preferred)
• Possess knowledge of basic skills involved with wrestling
• Demonstrate ability to motivate participants to develop skill and appreciation for participation in wrestling
• Successful completion of the WIAA rules exam
• Provide proof of ASEP or PACE course or examination
• Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English) are strongly preferred
