About the Role

We are a leading job board specializing in matching talented professionals with exciting career opportunities. As a Permanent Legal Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our attorneys in preparing for cases and managing family law cases from start to finish.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Conducting thorough research to support case preparation.
  • Organizing and maintaining case files in a paper or electronic filing system.
  • Effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
  • Assisting with case settlement negotiation and implementation.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2-7 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in Family Law.
  • A degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with legal software applications.
  • Excellent knowledge of legal language and principles.

Salary: $38 per hour.
