Job Title: CDL A Local Driver

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced and local Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team at Custom Ecology, Inc. As a CDL Driver, you will travel locally hauling MSW (Municipal Solid Waste consisting of residential and industrial waste) from transfer stations to landfills while adhering to local laws and understanding safety policies and regulations.

**Responsibilities:**

* Communicate and coordinate with dispatchers to ensure efficient route planning and execution
* Obey and follow traffic laws to ensure safe transportation of waste
* Document and maintain accurate driving logs to track hours and mileage
* Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns to ensure a safe working environment
* Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as company policies and procedures
* Report defects, accidents, and violations to ensure a safe and compliant work environment

**Benefits:**

**Requirements:**

* Must be at least 21 years of age
* Must have an up-to-date CDL and clean driving record
* Must have 2 years of prior and verifiable Tractor-Trailer experience
* Must have Tractor-Trailer experience within the last 6 months
* Must have an up-to-date and certified DOT Medical Card
* Must be able to pass required pre-employment drug screen and background checks
* Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
* Must have reliable transportation to and from the yard
