Culinary Apprentice

Chatham Bars Inn, a Forbes Travel Guide Five Star Hotel on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, is seeking a skilled Culinary Intern to join our high-energy team. As a Culinary Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in live professional kitchens, rotating through various culinary outlets on the property and preparing menu items under the guidance of experienced chefs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and cooking for various dining outlets
• Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with attention to detail and speed
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production schedules and maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Learn and implement new culinary techniques and recipes

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Able to lift up to 15lbs and stand for up to five hours per shift
• Basic mathematical calculations and time management skills
