RiverView Health is a community-owned, membership-based non-profit organization that has been serving the Crookston, MN area since 1898. As the sole community hospital in the region, we provide a range of healthcare services, including a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program, home care services, and five primary care and specialty clinics.

Responsibilities:

We are seeking interested LPNs in RN school to join our team or RNs with a part-time status. We are willing to work around your school schedule to ensure you successfully complete the RN program. Upon passing RN boards, you will be guaranteed a position with the team.

Our starting wage is dependent on experience, and we offer a 6-8 week preceptor program for LPNs in RN school. We train our nurses to work in Medical/Surgical, OB, ICU, and ER departments, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 during the day and 1:5 at night.

We also offer incentives for picking up extra shifts, with an extra $12/hour on Monday-Thursday and $18/hour on Friday-Sunday. Our Foundation offers several scholarships for students in healthcare, and we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality care to our community members.

Qualifications:

A current State of Minnesota LPN or RN license is required. ICU, ER, Medical, Surgical, or OB experience is preferred. Current American Heart BLS certification is required, and we will provide training if needed. Current American Heart ACLS certification is also required, and we will train you within the first year. PALS, TNCC, or NRP certification will be necessary within the first year based on where you cross-train.
