Job Summary:

This position plays a vital role in providing administrative support to physicians and serving as the primary liaison between patients and the practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and be able to multitask effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate schedules with professional staff and schedule appointments, ensuring seamless communication with patients and healthcare providers.

Register patients, verify insurance coverage, and obtain necessary referrals, all while maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

Prepare patients for examination, assist with gowning and seating as needed, and perform various clinical tasks, including phlebotomy, electrocardiograms, and spirometry.

Maintain treatment rooms and clinical equipment, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Obtain and record vital signs, including blood pressure, height, weight, pulse, respirations, vision screening, and temperature, as needed.

Prepare and administer vaccinations as required, and float to other locations as needed to support the team.

Requirements:

Vocational/Technical training and/or a minimum of six months of job-related experience or equivalent is required. Strong Medical Secretary background and excellent communication skills are essential.
