Responsibilities- Provide nursing care for students with medical needs, including tracheostomy, ventilator, and gastrostomy tube management.
- Ride the bus to and from school with the patient as needed.
- Monitor and administer medications, including seizure medications and rescue medications.
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Manage diabetic care, including blood glucose monitoring and insulin administration.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state in which the nurse practices.
- Current Health Certificate.
- Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
- Current BLS card.
- One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
