Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Creative Design Associate to join our dynamic team on-site, 5 days a week. The Creative Design Associate will play a crucial role in supporting our design and production processes, ensuring that our enchanting designs are brought to life with precision and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the design team to understand design concepts and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Technical Drawing: Assist in creating detailed technical drawings and specifications for garment construction, including patterns, grading, and measurements.
  • Sample Development: Support the development of samples and prototypes, ensuring they meet quality standards and design requirements.
  • Fitting and Quality Control: Conduct fittings and provide feedback on garment fit, construction, and overall quality.
  • Supply Chain Management: Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials and components that meet quality and cost requirements.
  • Record Keeping: Assist in maintaining accurate records of design specifications, sample development, and production timelines.
  • Industry Research: Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and technologies related to children's apparel design and production.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 1+ year of previous experience in technical design or internship.
  • Skills: Proficiency in CAD software such as Adobe Illustrator or similar programs, strong understanding of garment construction techniques, patternmaking, and grading.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in technical specifications, strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
