Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Mount Carmel St. Ann's.
About the Unit
Our 23-bed NICU is a Level III unit that provides comprehensive care to patients of all gestational ages. We are a Nationwide Children's Hospital unit, and our staff have access to their education on neonatal care. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and a supportive environment for our patients and families.
About Mount Carmel St. Ann's
Mount Carmel St. Ann's is a regional medical center that provides a wide range of patient-centered services. Our hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and technology, and our team of medical professionals is dedicated to providing award-winning care.
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of patients
- Administer medications under the direction of a provider
- Assist in emergency situations under the direction of a provider
- Educate and explain procedures to patients and family members
- Document accurately and completely pertinent assessments, interventions, and outcomes for patients
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
- Experience in NICU setting preferred
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio
- Current BLS/CPR
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage patient care
- Basic computer skills required; prior experience using an EMR for charting preferred
