Optometrist/Instructor

The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Nebraska Medical Center is looking for a skilled optometrist to join their team. As an optometrist/instructor, you will be responsible for performing routine eye exams, vision therapy, and providing educational instruction to fellows, residents, and medical students.

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams and provide diagnoses
• Develop and implement vision therapy plans
• Teach and mentor students, residents, and fellows
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ophthalmology and visual sciences

• State licensed Doctor of Optometry (O.D./Optometrist)
• Excellent communication and teaching skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
