Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Residential Security Technician to join our team at TEKsystems. As a Residential Security Technician, you will be responsible for installing and programming burglar alarms, CCTV systems, and access control systems for residential customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and program burglar alarms, CCTV systems, and access control systems for residential customers
  • Install window breaks, door units, and smoke detectors
  • Troubleshoot signal issues to ensure alarm systems function properly
  • Perform daily hands-on field interaction with customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Test and verify signals for equipment
  • Train customers on the use of equipment and answer questions
  • Complete necessary customer paperwork for each job
  • Maintain accurate truck inventory of products
  • Provide top-quality customer service and achieve 90% goal attainment for completed installations
Requirements
  • Must be able to attain Arizona Alarm License if not already held
  • Great communication skills and ability to think quickly on feet
  • Reliable and adaptable personality with stellar interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read non-verbal cues and have a solution-oriented, customer-centric attitude
  • Tools and equipment required include 6-foot ladder, screwdrivers, wire cutters, and hand sheetrock saw
  • Must have own vehicle
