Compensation and Benefits

Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Manager of Emergency Services to lead our team at Methodist ER Converse. This role involves overseeing the delivery of patient care, managing staff, and promoting a culture of excellence within the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • BUILDING AND MAINTAINING A HIGH-PERFORMING TEAM: Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • STAFF MANAGEMENT: Recruit, interview, and train new hires; conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to improve performance.
  • PATIENT CARE DELIVERY: Plan, organize, and facilitate the delivery of patient care services, ensuring that patients receive safe and effective care.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred
  • 1+ years applicable experience Required
  • 3+ years applicable experience Preferred
  • Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Current license to practice professional registered nursing in the state of Texas
