In the role of Sourcing Manager at Scout Clean Energy, you will take charge of procuring large-scale wind, solar, energy storage, and transformer components essential for the energy sector. Your responsibilities will include formulating negotiation tactics, spearheading agreements, and nurturing supplier partnerships to support Scout's strategic energy transition objectives. You will work collaboratively with various teams to enhance procurement workflows and promote cost-effectiveness while upholding safety and quality benchmarks.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Engage with Engineering, Construction, Legal, and other departments
- Establish and prioritize supplier partnerships
- Conduct sourcing operations for energy storage solutions and additional components
- Craft procurement plans informed by market analysis
- Offer insights on pricing, performance, risk management, quality, and ESG standards
- Facilitate ongoing improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or finance discipline
- Over 5 years of procurement experience within the renewable energy sector
- Expertise in category management involving technical and commercial intricacies
- Robust analytical and technical capabilities
- Experience in negotiating complex contracts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Compensation and Benefits:
