Quality Control Specialist at Peterson Farms Inc

We are seeking a Quality Control Specialist to ensure the highest standards of product quality and consistency at Peterson Farms Inc. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform qualitative testing of products, verifying they meet customer specifications and maintain superior quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct morning calibration tests and ensure test equipment readiness to guarantee accurate results
  • Grade finished products against customer specifications to ensure compliance
  • Accurately and efficiently complete all documentation in a timely manner
  • Conduct pre-operation sanitation inspections, including microbiological and pH testing, to maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and maintain lab supplies and work area to ensure a productive and efficient workspace
  • Take necessary actions in out-of-specification situations to prevent quality issues
  • Report any issues to Supervisors and Management to ensure prompt resolution
Requirements:
  • Excellent attendance record and strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with the team
  • Ability to work in temperatures below 40 degrees Fahrenheit, as required by the job
Working Conditions:
  • Potential hazards include cuts, slips, burns, and strains, requiring attention to safety protocols
  • Exposure to extreme cold below 38 degrees Fahrenheit, necessitating proper protective gear
  • Variable temperatures throughout the year, requiring adaptability
  • Moderate to high noise levels during peak times, necessitating effective communication strategies
