We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) to join our team at Emory University Hospital. As a key member of our Anesthesia Care Team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures, including vascular, surgical oncology, and general abdominal procedures.
- Supervise student anesthetists and participate in clinical research opportunities.
- Collaborate with our Anesthesia Care Team to ensure the highest level of quality and safety for our patients.
- Interpret and record patient physiological and pharmacological status, and assist the anesthesiologist in gathering routine pre-op data.
- Establish multi-parameter monitoring of patients prior to, during, and after anesthesia or in other acute care situations.
- Graduate of an accredited Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) Master's Degree program.
- Must maintain biannual certification through the submission of Continuing Medical Education credits (CMEs).
