Overview:

Elon University Student Health and Faculty Staff Wellness Services, in collaboration with Cone Health, is seeking a qualified Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or MedPed physician. This role is integral to a supportive work environment, delivering a wide range of medical services to approximately 8,000 students and 2,000 faculty members.

This position entails 10 months of on-site care, complemented by 2 months of backup phone call coverage.

The 0.8 FTE position includes 32 hours of work weekly, with a 70/30 division between patient care and leadership duties.

The healthcare team comprises 5 APPs, 1 RN, 5 CMAs, and additional support staff, fostering a collaborative atmosphere.

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating acute illnesses, performing physical examinations, administering injections, and providing GYN services. Proficiency in suturing, pap smears, and using a microscope for wet mounts is essential.

Professional Liability Insurance is included, along with tail coverage.
