About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Culinary Expert to join our team at Tallgrass Tap House. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have previous experience working in high-volume restaurant kitchens, with a strong focus on food safety and cleanliness procedures. You will be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, safely operate equipment, and follow recipes and direction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare high-quality dishes in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the dish room and equipment
  • Safely operate equipment, including the dish machine and cooking surfaces
  • Follow food safety and cleanliness procedures at all times
  • Perform additional duties related to kitchen operations as assigned by managers
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $13-$17 per hour, based on experience. Other benefits include flexible work schedules, employee referral bonus programs, length of service pay increases, and opportunities for career advancement within the company.

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to be on your feet for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs
  • Ability to reach and lift above the head as needed
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 60 lbs
  • Ability to function in a hot, loud, and busy kitchen environment
