Army ROTC Instructor

Job Summary:

This is a commissioned officer only position requiring a minimum of 6 years of former Army, ARNG or USAR service. The successful candidate will teach effectively in both indoor classroom and field training settings, presenting standardized instruction and creative workshops.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide military science instruction and training in accordance with Cadet Command's program of Instruction (POI), syllabus, and other ROTC-directed or emerging training in various settings on and off campus, to include field environments.
• Participate in Cadet Summer Training (CST) for approximately 30-45 days at Fort Knox, KY.
• Transport ROTC personnel, Cadets, and students, and supplies and materials in conjunction with training exercises and other ROTC events.

Requirements:

• Have been a Soldier within the U.S Army, Active Component, or former or current Soldier in the U.S Army Reserve, or Army National Guard.
• Minimum six (6) years prior Active or Reserve Component military experience.
• Meet the academic institution's qualifications and requirements for instructor positions at that institution.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
