Cardiology Specialist Wanted in Southeast New Mexico
Healthcare United is seeking an experienced Cardiology Specialist to join our team in Southeast New Mexico. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for optimizing patient outcomes through high-quality clinical care.
Requirements:
- Completion of a 3-year residency in Internal Medicine.
- Completion of a 3-year fellowship in Cardiology.
- One to two-year additional fellowship in Interventional Cardiology.
- New Mexico medical license (active or pending).
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team-oriented, patient-focused, and motivated to deliver exceptional care.
What You Can Expect:
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, no weekends.
- No on-call schedule, with 10 days of call coverage per month for local hospitals.
- State-of-the-art outpatient clinic offering Laboratory, Nuclear Medicine, Echo, and Ultrasound capabilities.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and provide medical treatment for patients with cardiovascular and peripheral artery diseases on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
- Perform and interpret interventional procedures to treat complex cardiovascular conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
- Provide consultation services to other healthcare professionals within the system.
