Job Overview

Position: Certified Respiratory Care Specialist

Salary Range: $83,000 - $93,000

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

A full-time, permanent opportunity is available at a premier skilled nursing organization that specializes in post-hospital rehabilitation, as well as long-term and respite care services.

Role Summary:

Primary Duties:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' respiratory health and requirements.
  • Design and execute tailored respiratory care strategies in partnership with the healthcare team.
  • Administer various respiratory therapy interventions, including oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and ventilator oversight.
  • Continuously monitor and document patients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding respiratory wellness and therapy methodologies.
  • Ensure meticulous maintenance of patient records and documentation.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in respiratory therapy practices and incorporate them into patient care.
Qualifications:

Must possess a valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) license in NH.
Certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) is preferred.
Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care environment is advantageous.
Demonstrated clinical expertise with the capacity to evaluate and manage intricate respiratory conditions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
