Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Golden Corral. As a Meat Cutter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and quantity of our meat products meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut meat according to product specifications and time standards.
  • Complete use and following of the buffet production system to insure quality and shelf life compliance.
  • Rotate cut and boxed meat to ensure freshness.
  • Stock and arrange the Meat Cooler in accordance with approved food safety guidelines.
  • Sanitize all surfaces between production of chicken and any other meat to eliminate cross-contamination.
  • Recognize and remove bad meat when it is sticky, slick, or smells bad.
  • Clean and sanitize the meat room according to cleanliness, service, and quality standards.
  • Follow local health department laws and regulations.
  • Use administration forms to maintain an inventory of all meat products and determine production levels.
  • Notify the Manager of any discrepancies in product or equipment.
  • Perform opening and closing administrative procedures.
  • Properly maintain equipment according to the Equipment Maintenance manual.
  • Perform duty roster tasks.

Requirements

To be successful as a Meat Cutter, you should have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You should also be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
