Cardiac Catheterization Registered Nurse

We are in search of a Cath Lab Registered Nurse, also known internally as our Cath Lab RN or IR Nurse at Prime Healthcare. This role is crucial in maintaining the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of cardiac catheterization procedures, playing a vital part in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions within the cardiac catheterization lab.
Compensation Package:
Up to $25,000 in bonuses (disbursed over 90 days, 1 year, 1.5 years, and 2 years)
Available Shifts:
Day shifts, 4/10's with occasional on-call duties.
Employment Type:
Full Time or PRN
Work Schedule:
4 days per week, 10-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations, addressing psychosocial, physical, and general care aspects related to the surgical environment.
- Maintain continuous communication with physicians regarding patient conditions.
- Assist in the upkeep of equipment and inventory, ensuring readiness of procedure rooms and equipment.
- Procure supplies for individual cases, ensuring the Cardiovascular Laboratory team's needs are met.
- Monitor physiological and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiovascular lab.
- Continuously observe and document patients' conditions while in the Cardiovascular lab.
- Minimum of 1 year of prior experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Valid State of Georgia license or Compact RN license.
