Practice Details- Specialty: Ambulatory Pediatrics
- Subspecialty Focus: Adolescent Medicine, with an emphasis on eating disorders and gynecological care.
- Support Team: Collaborate with a dedicated team including Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, Social Workers, Dieticians, and Psychologists.
- EMR System: Utilize Athena for efficient patient management.
- Facility: Work within the renowned Dell Children's Medical Center.
The selected candidate will:
- Evaluate and manage patients utilizing comprehensive medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
- Coordinate discharge planning in collaboration with case management.
- Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing cost-effectiveness and quality of care.
- Accept referrals from fellow physicians and serve as an attending physician for hospitalized patients as necessary.
- Engage in academic programs, including medical education and research, as required.
- Document patient interactions in compliance with insurance requirements and manage appeals for any denials.
- Provide both inpatient and outpatient consultations, which may include on-call responsibilities.

RequirementsLicensure/Certification: Must possess a valid Physician MD/DO credential from the Texas Medical Board.
Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) is required.
