About the Job

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a highly skilled travel nurse RN to join their team in Lander, Wyoming. This 13-week contract offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact while exploring the beautiful landscapes of Wyoming.

Job Description

This Registered Nurse position requires critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills. The ideal candidate will have one to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse and be able to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and perform physical tasks such as lifting (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, and bending.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Transport patients as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential skills:

  • Interpersonal Skills - to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary)
  • Technical/Motor Skills - Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling, and able to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
  • Mental Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public, customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure
  • Sensory - Visual acuity, ability to effectively communicate

Salary Estimate

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 per year, based on a 36-hour workweek and a 12-hour shift schedule.
