Job Summary

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Behavioral Support Specialist. The successful candidate will provide support to students with behavioral challenges, working closely with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to develop and implement individualized support plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide behavioral support to students with challenging behaviors
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders
  • Work closely with teachers to develop and implement strategies to support student learning and behavior
  • Provide training and support to teachers and other staff on behavioral support strategies
  • Collaborate with parents and other stakeholders to develop and implement support plans
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Certificate (or willingness to obtain within six months of employment)
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment)
  • Valid California driver's license
