Geospatial Data Analyst

As a Geospatial Data Analyst at Sitio Royalties, you will play a crucial role in assisting with data creation and quality control for various GIS datasets using ESRI and P2 GIS software. This position is responsible for ensuring that company GIS data is accurately and continuously reflective of our associated assets. You will produce high-quality maps and provide general GIS support across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in GIS/Geoscience related roles within the oil and gas industry. Experience with Texas Land Grid, ArcGIS Pro, and database management systems such as SQL Server and Enterprise Geodatabases is highly desirable. Strong understanding of GIS principles, including data types, delivery options, and georeferencing, is essential.
This is a full-time exempt position with a base pay range of **$70,000 - $130,000** depending on location, qualifications, and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as flexible spending accounts and a 401(k) matching program.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with geospatial dataset maintenance, including mapping mineral ownership tracts and drilling spacing units
- Performing routine quality control processes and participating in maintaining master data management systems
- Evaluating M&A opportunities by preparing and analyzing geospatial data for use by the deal evaluation team
