About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Houma, LA. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our clients' healthcare needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients, including exercises, modalities, and education
  • Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive work environment
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Current licensure and certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
