Job Title: Night Shift Production Supervisor

This is a unique opportunity to join the Trex Company at an expansion stage and help build talent and culture from the ground up, as we build our new location in Little Rock. A high level of accountability and coordination, along with a focus on relationships and willingness to travel regularly to other established locations during the early months of this role will be key components to success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety Prioritization: Acts with a Safety-First mindset and champions a safety-centered culture, recognizes and immediately corrects unsafe conditions and behaviors, conducts Root Cause and Counter Measure investigations if incidents occur, and acts courageously to resolve safety hazards quickly.
  • Process Management: Thinks and acts like an owner each day, champions brand ownership through quality-centered execution, establishes clear expectations for multiple roles, forms routines that provide regular feedback to the team based on goals, manages performance to expectations to reach operational targets through Key Performance Indicators, drives Continuous Improvement based on feedback from the team, and adjusts daily production strategy based on budgetary requirements.
  • Leadership Mindset: Proven leader who remains positive and approachable during high-stress situations, communicates clearly and effectively to multiple levels of the organization, makes independent, timely decisions based on available information, is comfortable working in a dynamic environment while managing multiple demands, recognizes direct reports' abilities and strengths while cultivating talent, develops high-functioning teams, prioritizes employee engagement by building meaningful relationships, drives specific actions that target improved employee engagement, and navigates and resolves employee conflicts as they occur.
  • Administrative Acumen: Organizational skills to help maintain accurate timekeeping and absenteeism records, proven ability to create a standard process or procedure, ability to re-assign personnel based on business need, participates in the hiring process as a direct people leader, and experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
Requirements:
  • At least 4 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering plus 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a Production Supervisor or Production Manager is desired.
